http://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-africa-43279297/baby-chimp-rescued-from-poachers-in-africaA team from Lwiro Primates with pilot Anthony Caere rescued three year old Mussa from a village known as Beni in North Kivu. They found out about Mussa from the "WhatsApp" unaware if she was just a pet or was going to be sold. They learned that she was living in a mans home and lived with other protected reptiles. They believe Mussa's mother was killed due to poachers that kill the adult chimps for meat and sell the babies as a pet. It's illegal to sell chimps, but those who want one will pay thousands of dollars just for one. Now the chimp lives in a new home at a small village located in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
